Auburn Moron Refuses to Hedge Bet
This bet started making the internet rounds a few months back. Today, ESPN has an article glorifying Mark Skiba's refusal to hedge this bet. He obviously should've put $25k on Florida State as soon as the moneyline was available. ESPN insinuates some sort of jinx by hedging this bet, as if Joe Schmo's bet has any bearing on the outcome of the game. Also, as a simple heads up to the people of Alabama - Brian Burnett, CPA, is the dumbest accountant the state of Alabama has to offer. Telling anyone to throw away $25,000 because you've "come this far" should be grounds for losing his accreditation.
As if I wasn't rooting for FSU enough, here's to seeing Mark Skiba $25,000 poorer than he should be.
USC vs. UCLA Bball Yesterday
I'm not going to sugarcoat it, USC got shamed / boat-raced / routed at Pauley Pavilion yesterday. UCLA easily could've hung 120 points on us, but thankfully Alford took his foot off the gas. Watching both USC basketball and the Lakers failing to even fake it on defense is really starting to wear on me. One of the very few bright spots for me during the game was laughing at FS1 for this typo. The other was reading that Shabazz Muhammad has been relegated to the NBA's D-League.
If you thought his Tourette's was bad before...
Johnny Football Partying in Hollywood
So Johnny Football was tailed by TMZ after leaving a club with two attractive young ladies last night. He's taking some heat for giving Florida State some love, but of course I agree with him. I hope Auburn gets curbstomped tonight.
PS - The bro he hands the phone to in the TMZ video is the same dude that made the fraternity rush parody that I affectionately refer to as Frat Rush McCoy. Enjoy.

Chris Kluwe - STFU
I'll be honest, I've hated Chris Kluwe since the second he donned a UCLA uniform. Never in my life have I heard or seen more comments directed towards / coming from a punter. And that was in college. Since he realized that he was a little bit of a social media darling at UCLA, he tried to parlay that into becoming a sports personality off the field in the NFL. I smiled patiently and waited for his demise.
There was always one massive problem with Kluwe - punters and kickers are supposed to be seen, but definitely NOT HEARD. Kluwe's hubris led him to believe that he wasn't expendable, while I would say that he is the 2nd most expendable player (besides longsnapper) on any team. I vividly remember saying that Kluwe would blame his firing on his gay rights views the very day he was cut from the Vikings. You don't see Kerry Rhodes blasting his former team as bigoted. He was a starting corner in the NFL until some "borderline" pictures surfaced. If a starting cornerback can get cut from a team for the mere possibility of a gay relationship, how much do you think the Vikings wanted their punter making controversial headlines? Do you think the Vikings wanted GLAAD to be hanging out in the locker room for an Incognito-esque slip of the gay-bashing tongue?
Neither do I.
The key here is understanding your value. It is a whole lot easier for the Vikings to find someone to average 40 yds per punt than to have coaches answering questions about their punter's off the field comments. Know your place. And know when to STFU, especially if you're a punter.
The SEC Is Overrated
Last night was case in point. Alabama was a ridiculous 17 point favorite over Oklahoma for what reason??? Simple. It's because the SEC is so clearly the best conference in the country. Duh. Nevermind that they play NOBODY. Nevermind that they have an 8-game conference schedule to shield themselves from another potential loss. Nevermind that they schedule cupcakes in November. Nevermind all that... ESPN says they are really good you guys. And now that his holiness, Tim Tebow, is climbing aboard the mothership, get ready to lose your lunch. If you thought Paul Finebaum was unbearable this year, think about how "excited & blessed" Tebow will be next year talking about Gus Malzahn's read-option revolutionizing college football. Hand me a barf bucket.
I couldn't be rooting for Oklahoma State, Houston, or Florida State anymore than I already am. Also, that game was so bad for Bama last night, this fan had already made it to the 3rd stage of grief:
Bargaining.
LSU Mom Can't Catch A Break
I remember this video from two years ago. This LSU mom was visibly distraught after her son chose not to stay close to home. There seems to be a pattern here, so maybe she really is as batshit crazy as she seems.
Please notice that all 3 of these characters have different last names. That's class all the way. I'm willing to bet that Mrs. April Justin banged more Saints and LSU Tigers than she can even remember.
