In one glorious tweet, OC Register Angels beat writer Mike DiGiovanna explains everything that is wrong with baseball writers today. They refuse to listen to the math. It's like trying to reason with a child, and I just want Jonah Hill to do this to his ballsack. I know for a fact this asshat has seen Moneyball. Shit he's probably read it twice. In one ear and out the other. The extra base has been mathematically proven NOT to be worth the price of the sacrificed out. Maybe there is a reason the A's are 16 games up the Angels? The collective ignorance to even basic Sabermetrics by baseball writers is astounding. They do this shit for a living. No wonder the newspaper is dead. Hilariously the Register just put up a pay-wall online. I bet that goes well.
